Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen
Let me introduce myself: my name is Jenny [my Chinese name is Zhang YanQin], and I am a tour guide and tour manager local to Wuyi Mountain. Since my birth on July 21st, 1976, I have lived in Wuyi Shan, except for some time studying at Fujian Teaching University. Before I became a tour guide, I was a teacher. I hope I can teach you a little about Fujian.
I have a lovely daughter, Alice. I hope that when she grows up, she can speak very good English and will be able to travel in different countries. That is our dream.
I have worked as tour guide since 2003. In the past few years, I have focused in particular on translation services, and helping foreign tourists. I have always enjoyed travel - seeing new places and especially meeting a variety of people.
I am proud to show people Wuyi Shan’s beautiful scenery, and a galaxy of culture: from the world-famous tea, to the mountains, which are a UNESCO heritage site. I particularly enjoy working with individual clients, like couples or families, with whom a more personal, friendly relationship may be established, and the tour may be customized to your interests or requirements.
I have been named ‘Best Tour Manager in Wuyi Shan’ by three newspapers and I have been honored to be in the Top Ten list of tourist guides in WuyiShan from 2004 to the present day, nominated by the government and Tourism Bureau.
I look forward to meeting you, and to welcoming you to Fujian Province. I am sure I can help you have a fantastic trip.
